A Bow by Eugène “Cuniot-Hury”

Violin bow by Eugène “Cuniot-Hury”, Mirecourt, c. 1895

This amazing French bow offers the best classic attributes expected from this maker. The very elegantly made round stick and the neat and precise mounting make his bows well-appreciated by musicians and collectors.  In our opinion, the perfect round progression of the stick remarks as this bow's highlight.   More

      Full description

This amazing French bow was made by the hands of one of the most notorious makers of late 19th century Mirecourt. This bow is a medium-weight, fast, light-tip style one. It presents a great grip, and the flexible, responsive stick allows the musician to variate in texture and speak with great clearness and diction. The stick is made of a light-brown Pernambuco wood, and the nickel mounting is incredibly refined, as it is possible to notice in the perfectly shaped deep dark ebony frog.

Violin by Lorenzo Frignani, Modena, 2025

      By Lorenzo Frignani  |

This personal model violin, inspired by the legacy of Stradivarian models, was crafted by the hands of a Master Maker. Lorenzo's long career as a violin maker and researcher is transmitted into the making. For us, its highlight is the overall precision of the handcrafted on every single aspect and detail, all covered and enhanced by the lovely and clear red-brown varnish.
