Violin by Alessandro di Matteo, Cremona 2011
By Alessandro Di Matteo | , 2011
This violin by Alessandro di Matteo, crafted in Cremona in 2011 after a Guarneri ‘Del Gesù’ model, reflects a refined approach to classical inspiration. The warm orange-brown varnish enhances its elegant outline and materials. In our opinion, the highlight of this instrument is the precisely shaped arching, which beautifully captures the maker’s balanced blend of power and nuance.
