Violin by Arnaldo Morano, Casalmonferrato 1983
By Arnaldo Morano |
This stunning Arnaldo Morano violin from 1983 beautifully represents the Piedmontese violin-making tradition, with its bold arching, refined edgework, and striking red varnish. The instrument features a magnificent one-piece back with deep, elegant flames, adding to its visual allure. Tonally, it offers a refined yet assertive voice, combining clarity, warmth, and excellent projection. In our opinion, the highlight of this violin is its exceptionally crafted back, which enhances both its aesthetic appeal and rich tonal depth.
