The Amorim Family is delighted to invite you to an exclusive violin event in Cremona, featuring the renowned violinist Geza Hosszu Legocky. Whether you’re a professional musician or a student this is a unique opportunity to explore contemporary, modern, and old violins from the Amorim Collection, including masterpieces by Luiz Amorim!

The special event will take place on May 10th 2025, at Amorim Fine Violins Cremona, located at Piazza Marconi 7/b, Cremona, Italy.

What to Expect

10am – Masterclass with Geza Hosszu Legocky
Participate either as an active player (limited spots) or a listener, and gain valuable insights from one of today’s leading violinists.

3pm – Violin Tasting Session
Try an exceptional selection of instruments from our collection, including contemporary and old violins. Geza Hosszu Legocky will be there to guide you, offering expert advice.

7pm – Exclusive Recital
End the day with a special performance by Geza Hosszu Legocky playing a violin by Luiz Amorim, a copy of Guarneri “Del Gesù” De Beriot.

About Geza Hosszu Legoczky

Born in Switzerland to Hungarian-Ukrainian parents, Geza began his career as a prodigy, entering the Vienna Music Academy at age 6 and touring internationally soon after. By 14, he was performing with major orchestras like the NHK and Radio France Philharmonics, and sharing the stage with legends such as Martha Argerich, Ida Haendel, and Charles Dutoit.

Renowned for his expressive playing and genre-crossing artistry, Geza founded The 5 DeViLs, blending classical with gypsy, jazz, and folk music. He has performed worldwide, from Salle Pleyel to the Aspen Music Festival, and played on prestigious instruments including a 1715 Stradivarius.

Today, he continues to inspire through his solo work and his ensemble, the Bohemian Virtuosi, supporting young Eastern European talents.
