Violin by Hyun Jung Park, Cremona 2024

This remarkable replica draws inspiration from one of the most fascinating violins crafted by Guarneri Del Gesù, the 1736 'Cessole' Widely regarded as one of his finest works, the violin is named after Count Eugène Joseph Cessole, who first purchased it from J.B Vuillaume in the 1800s. The violin is considered to be one of the most spectacular works of Giuseppe Guarneri, especially for its unique and unforeseen elegance and delicacy, usually unexpected in 'Del Gesù's works.  This expertly crafted replica stands out for its meticulous copying and antiquing process, capturing the profound character of the original instrument, and brilliantly interpreting the essence of this unique masterpiece.
