      Full description

This exceptional bow made by the great French mastermaker combines all the qualities that elected him as such. It is truly a representative masterpiece of the highest standards achieved in the first half of the 20th century in Mirecourt. It unites strength in its design, craftsmanship, and superb quality of the materials used, just as the greatest part of the highest quality outcome of the family's previous generations. This bow is in mint condition, original in all its main parts. The stick shaping is simple, neat, and made of an exquisite dense Pernambuco wood of red-brown tonality. The frog and button are mounted in silver and high-quality, tight-grain ebony. This bow was definitely made attending to musicians' requests in the early 1900s, as its playability and response are beyond the average, making it a versatile all-purpose bow with outstanding sound quality.

      Charles Louis Bazin

Charles Louis Bazin was the third generation of the family, at the time already settled as one of the most influential workshops of Mirecourt. His bows are noted for their exquisite balance, responsiveness, and playability. His innovative designs and refined techniques earned him renown among both musicians and fellow craftsmen.Learn more

Copy of Joseph Guarneri “del Gesù” Stauffer, Zukerman, 1734

      By Luiz Amorim  |  , Cremona, 2022

This excellent replica of Guarneri Del Gesù was made by the genius hands of a master maker. With a deep understanding and study of the original instrument, Luiz handcrafted this Violin almost as a sibling of the original one, thinking of two twin violins that were made and lived side by side. The highlight of this violin definitely is the lovely patina that covers the whole instrument with elegance.
