A Violin by Andrea Cabrini

Violin by Andrea Cabrini, Cremona, 2021

A Stradivari model violin, crafted by the hands of a master maker of violin. Andrea’s immersion in the classical Cremonese tradition is clearly translated in this violin – one of his most recent works. In our view,  the delicate, gently carved scroll is this violin’s high point. More

    Full description

"This cremona violin was modeled after a Stradivari from 1705. The top is made from long seasoned spruce, and comes from Val di Fiemme, which is the same source of most of the greatest Cremonese makers of the past. The one-piece back, sides, and neck is made from maple that comes from the Balkans. The golden-orange varnish is oil-based." Andrea Cabrini

    Andrea Cabrini

Andrea Cabrini deepened his roots into Cremonese traditional craftsmanship by working alongside Maestro Bissolotti after graduating from violin-making school. He is inspired by the great masters Stradivari and Guarneri ‘del Gesù.’Learn more

Violin Bow by Kurt Dolling, Markneukirchen, c.1960

    By Kurt Dolling  |

This great Modern German bow was made by the hands of a mastermaker. Amongst the greater names of the bow-making tradition in Markneukirchen, Kurt Dolling's bows are sought after for their reliability, precision, and functionality. From our point of view, this bow exceeds for its precisely shaped and curved strong octagonal stick.
