Violin by Manuel Di Landa, Cremona, 2024

This Cremona violin, a personal model,  antiqued style, inspired by Guarneri 'Del Gesù', was crafted by the hands of an experienced maker. Manuel’s deep knowledge of old instruments brings a lot to the making of this new one. In our opinion, the high point of this Cremona violin are the charming slightly tilted f-holes that give to the instrument a completely intriguing look. More

    Full description

This Cremona violin was made following a personal model inspired by Giuseppe Guarneri 'Del Gesù' 1735 violin, entirely hand-made using radial cut spruce from the Val di Fiemme for the top and Balkan maple for the back, ribs, and neck with regular flames. The oil varnish was prepared by the maker himself in an artisanal way, following the antique recipe of the 1700s. It has an orange-amber color over a yellow-golden ground.

Violin Bow by Kurt Dolling, Markneukirchen, c.1960

    By Kurt Dolling  |

This great Modern German bow was made by the hands of a mastermaker. Amongst the greater names of the bow-making tradition in Markneukirchen, Kurt Dolling's bows are sought after for their reliability, precision, and functionality. From our point of view, this bow exceeds for its precisely shaped and curved strong octagonal stick.
