      This beautiful and singing Viola exhibits how the wide range of skills earned by Piasentini combine into a unique interpretation of the finest Cremonese Luthierie. His experience as a restorer brought a deep and elegant touch to the instrument's aesthetics while his deep research work into acoustics is an inherent part of his instruments, as this viola's colorful and round tone exemplifies. This Viola, modeled after Amati, presents a regular medium-width grain Italian Spruce top, and a two-piece back of fine quality flamed maple, mirrored twisted as in the style of Amati family instruments. All covered with a lovely clear orange oil-varnish.
