    Full description

    "This violin was made based on a Guarneri “del Gesù” model from the ‘Heifetz’ 1740. On this instrument, I focused on capturing the beauty of imperfection from the original style of Guarneri “del Gesù” by leaving tool marks and using asymmetric lines. The wood pieces were carefully selected and have the same origins as the wood pieces used by the greatest masters for their masterpieces in the past. The wood used in the top is of excellent quality and is sourced from the Val di Fiemme. The back is created from two pieces of maple with a medium-width irregular flame, the ribs and scroll are made with similar maple of the back, they all from Bosnia. This violin is varnished with a lovely orange-red color on a golden-yellow background."Anna Arietti
