Full description

Andrea Cabrini’s 2024 violin is a testament to the excellence of modern Cremonese violin-making, drawing inspiration from Stradivari’s classical models while incorporating Cabrini’s personal artistic touch. The instrument is built with a meticulously selected medium-grained spruce top, offering both visual elegance and exceptional tonal properties. The two-piece maple back is adorned with striking, well-defined flames, adding to the violin’s aesthetic allure and structural integrity.

The transparent amber-orange varnish is subtly antiqued, with delicate wear patterns that enhance the violin’s natural charm and highlight Cabrini’s remarkable finishing work. The fine black lines accentuating the scroll, button, and corners provide an elegant contrast, a signature feature of his refined craftsmanship.

Sonically, this violin offers a perfect balance of warmth, brilliance, and clarity, with an immediate response and dynamic projection. It delivers a rich and expressive tonal palette, making it an excellent choice for musicians seeking an instrument with both power and nuance. Cabrini’s 2024 creation beautifully embodies the tradition of Cremonese violin-making while standing out as a unique work of art.

This great Modern German bow was made by the hands of a mastermaker. Amongst the greater names of the bow-making tradition in Markneukirchen, Kurt Dolling's bows are sought after for their reliability, precision, and functionality. From our point of view, this bow exceeds for its precisely shaped and curved strong octagonal stick.
