      This high-quality Italian violin modeled after Stradivari carries a lot of the personal character of the work of this master maker. The beautiful one back with deep flames figure is enhanced by the clear transparent red-brown varnish, with some slight wear details that bring out such a natural look. The finishing refinement is remarkable, and the elegant personal touch from Frignani combines the classic Cremonese tradition with elements of the Emilian Romagna school of violin making, in which Maestro Frignani is so deeply involved, notable for example on the fine and delicate edges of thescroll.

      Lorenzo initiated his career in violin-making in 1986 and deals with the making and restoration of stringed and plucked instruments for over forty years. He has been involved in the international music community for many years, training students. Lorenzo Frignani received numerous honors and awards for his musical instruments, conceived and organized exhibitions of musical instruments in Parma, Finale Emilia, Medolla, Pieve di Cento, Spezzano, and Rome.
