Full description

This Guarneri model, antiqued style violin, was based on the 1743 Guarneri 'Del Gesù', named after his great late owner "Brusilow". This challenging model brings together both the boldness and strong character of Guarneri's late period works and yet a very elegant and refined approach, combining distinct features resulting in this great and amazing sounding and looking violin. The top is made of Italian Spruce with a medium-width grain. The back, sides, neck, and head are made of fine-quality maple of medium figure. The whole antiqued varnish cover is applied in an elegant and light stylish way, rewarding the instrument with an astonishing look.

Violin Bow by Kurt Dolling, Markneukirchen, c.1960

By Kurt Dolling  |

This great Modern German bow was made by the hands of a mastermaker. Amongst the greater names of the bow-making tradition in Markneukirchen, Kurt Dolling's bows are sought after for their reliability, precision, and functionality. From our point of view, this bow exceeds for its precisely shaped and curved strong octagonal stick.
