A Violin by Fabio Volta
Violin by Fabio Volta, Cremona, 2020
Stradivari model
An antiqued violin, crafted by the hands of a master violin maker. It shows the beautiful Cremonese traditional handcraftsmanship, faithfully representing the violin maker he was inspired by. In our view, what stands out in this cremona violin is the well-done light antiquing over the slab cut maple back. More

Full description
"My inspiration when making a cremona violin is that it produces a powerful and warm sound at the same time - as the ancient Cremonese instruments. The search for a work that is aesthetically soft also gives pleasure to the touch; so that the violinist and the violin can become one." Fabio Volta
Fabio Volta
Born and raised in Cremona, Fabio couldn’t run away from the Cremonese violin-making scenario. Combining his passion for playing instruments and his abilities to work with his hands was born his career. His constructive, aesthetic, and acoustic technique has grown considerably after graduation in the violin-making school, reaching professional maturity by learning with great local makers of that time.Learn more

Violin bow by Charles Louis Bazin, Mirecourt, c. 1920
By Charles Louis Bazin |
This amazing Modern Period French bow shows Louis Bazin's careful and refined approach. Considered to be the most consistent maker of the family history, Louis' bows elegance is at the rule in this example. In our opinion, this bow highpoint is the round chamfered "swan" style head.
