Full description
The wood selection for this cello draws inspiration from the spirit of Antonio Stradivari’s timeless craftsmanship rather than an exact replica of a specific instrument. The top is made from Italian spruce from Val di Fiemme, featuring a medium-wide grain chosen to reflect Stradivari’s balance of aesthetic beauty and acoustic excellence. The back, ribs, neck, and scroll are crafted from beautifully flamed Balkan maple, selected to present a unique texture and fresh interpretation. Stradivari cellos are celebrated for their clarity, depth, and remarkable projection across all registers, making them ideal for both solo and ensemble performances. With its rich red-brown varnish, this cello embodies a bold visual elegance while capturing the refined tonal character and timeless style of the Cremona master maker through a contemporary vision.
