After graduated from the international school of violin making Antonio Stradivari in Cremona in 1991, Andrea worked for four years with Maestro Bissolotti and his sons. He later worked under Pierangelo Balzarini and Alessandro Tossani guidance. He follows the Cremonese traditional method of working, using models after Stradivari and Guarneri ‘del Gesù’ and his owns.Maker Interview

Why did you start making instruments?
When I was 14 years old, I enrolled in the lutherie school because I was very fascinated by the world of violin making.
Why your instruments are so special?
Each of my instruments is a unique piece, and each has its own story while maintaining my personality. I continuously look for stylistic and technical improvements to improve the acoustics.
What is your inspiration?
I always try to give a personal imprint to each of my works, always inspired by the great luthiers of the past.
