Violin by Michele Buccellé, Cremona 2024
By Michele Buccellè |
This outstanding violin, crafted by Michele Buccellè in 2024, is inspired by Stradivari’s renowned 1704 "Betts" model, a masterpiece from the Golden Period. Buccellè’s interpretation blends historical authenticity with his refined craftsmanship, resulting in an instrument with a brilliant, powerful, and resonant tone. The violin features a premium Italian spruce top with a fine, even grain, and a striking two-piece Balkan maple back with elegant flame. In our opinion, the highlight of this instrument is its arching and edgework—executed with precision and artistry—bringing both structural integrity and visual sophistication.
