The Tradition of Cremonese Luthiers
CREMONESE VIOLINS
Each instrument is crafted using traditional methods passed down from the master luthiers, born and raised in the heart of Cremona. This city is renowned for its ancient instrument-making tradition, perfected by Cremonese luthiers like Amati, Stradivari, and Guarneri, who elevated the art of violin-making to legendary levels.
At Amorim, we are committed to keeping this legacy alive. Our Cremonese violins are created following tradition and with the utmost attention to detail, ensuring impeccable sound and unparalleled craftsmanship. Each instrument is a unique work of art, built by a master luthier and faithful to the violin-making tradition of Cremona.
Choosing a violin, viola, or cello from Amorim means immersing yourself in centuries of history, following in the footsteps of giants like Amati and Stradivari. Our instruments embody the essence of classical violin making and are cherished by musicians worldwide.

Amorim Fine Violins is a family business, just like the workshops of Stradivari and Guarneri. Founded in 2001 by the renowned violin maker Luiz Amorim and his wife, Betina Schreiner. We bring our fine arts experience into the violin-making field. For more than ten years now, their sons Luan and Gaian joined the firm bringing strength to make it one of the most innovative and fast-growing companies in the violin business. We are in the market of violin making, restoration, and sale of violins, violas, cellos, and bows.
