Strongly inspired by the work of Cesare and Piero Castelli, the instrument reflects a refined regional character interpreted through Pignotti’s own vision and craftsmanship.
The cello features a commanding outline, with a full, curved shape and long, elegant corners that give the model both strength and grace. Born in Germany, Emidio Pignotti discovered his passion for violin making in 1999. His skills were further developed through time spent in the workshop of Cesare Castelli and his son Piero, whose advice helped refine his craft.
